Expecting! Jackie Chan's "Kung Fu Yoga" has scheduled for release in 2016

"Kung Fu Yoga" is an upcoming multi-lingual action-adventure film which was directed by Stanley Tong, a very famous director in Hong Kong, China, and the film is the first Chinese-Indian co-production of Taihe Entertainment and Shinework Media.


It is reported, the movie has begun shoot in Dubai, South Korea, China, Spain and other places at the end of September, 2015. The main actors of the film  are Jackie Chan, Amyra Dastur, Aarif Rahman, Zhang Yixing, Sonu Sood and so on.


“Kung Fu Yoga” tells a story of a Chinese archaeologist who is travelling to Tibet to find the legendary treasure. Jack, as an archaeologist, but not step out of school for many years, the school headmaster and students are dubious to his “once-glorious” history. After one of his lessons, an Indian girl find Jack and gives Jack a map of thousands of years ago which attracted the attention of Jack. Then, to find out the “the famed lost treasure of Magadha empire”, Jack and his team begin an adventure tour.


The director of “Kung Fu Yoga” Stanley Tong said at the signing ceremony that there were many elements combined in this film such as the action, adventure and suspense, this will be a cross-cultural, multi-language movie which can let the audience all over the world be easy to understand.


“Kung fu Yoga” would also reflect a long historical cultural exchange between two major ancient civilizations China and India and tell the legend and the story of the human landscape of the two countries.


Jackie Chan, one of the main actors of the film said in an interview that he was looking forward to participate in the shooting of this movie in India, the “Kung Fu Yoga” has achieved the consistent expectations of the peoples from both China and India, and the shooting of the film would also promote the other cooperation projects in the movie field.
