Updated: March 23, 2016

As we know, The Kung Fu panda 123 series has all finished and released, this film series has achieved very successful box office records; the animated feature of ‘Kung Fu Panda’ is full of comedy, action, and Chinese Kung Fu.

Actually, after finishing the Kung Fu panda 3, the fans of the Kung Fu panda Po are starting to wonder if they will get the chance to see a fourth movie? But if you think that this film series seems to be at an abrupt end, I have to say, you may have a wrong guess

It is reported, the filmmaker of DreamWorks Jeffrey Katzenberg stated in an interview that Kung fu panda 4 project has started to initiate, the film will be a very great story, they are going to complete most production of the movie in the Shanghai Studio of the company, besides the panda Po, Jeffrey Katzenberg plans to look for some other Chinese elements for the Kung Fu Panda 4. He told the reporter, they will filter some Chinese elements from Chinese literature and culture and will find more nice and colorful stories for the audience.

As the fourth part of the kung fu panda movie series, the Kung Fu panda 4 will still be produced by DreamWorks Animation Production and released by Paramount Pictures, Most of the original cast such as Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Seth Rogen, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu and Jackie Chan are reportedly set to return, the specific release time is still TBD.

On the other hand, the director of the Kung Fu panda also revealed, although Kung Fu Panda 4 has not been shooting yet, the project has already started to initiate. However, in Kung Fu Panda 4, the main character may not be the panda Po, but rather a new generation of giant pandas, it will reopen a better and more fanciful story.

As a matter of fact, some successful computer-animation films such as Toy Story, Shrek, and Ice Age all had four films at least. By the looks of it, it seems like a Kung Fu Panda 4 movie is not far from happening.
